"The Love Quest" is an interactive, open-world treasure hunt game designed specifically for couples in long-distance relationships. Set in a sprawling park, the game features three treasure chests hidden at various locations. Each chest holds a key, and collecting all three allows players to unlock a grand chest filled with a surprise left by their significant other.

As players approach each chest, they must answer a multiple-choice question set by their partner. Choosing the wrong answer requires players to restart from the decision point, although they retain any keys collected from correctly answered questions. Once all three keys are gathered, players can unlock the large chest to reveal a heartfelt surprise, such as a beautiful picture placed by their significant other.

This game is designed for two players: one hides the chests, sets the questions, and arranges the final surprise, while the other seeks them out. Due to my limited experience with Unity, a complex software, I have developed only a visual demo of the gameplay, featuring preset questions, locations, and the final surprise.

This was a really interesting game demo! I understand that this is more of a visual concept demo of an experience meant to be shared by two people. It was easy to move around the space, although I will say maybe the camera was bumping a little too much for the calmer tone you're setting.

I really like the idea that this is a game that imitates an analogue game a couple might play in real life-- ie hiding items around, making quizzes, creating a surprise. It makes me wonder if this game is perhaps meant for long-distance couples who can't share a space in the moment. Giving couples a digital space where they can play a game that's about their relationship is very very wholesome!

I think you have an incredible starting point if you want to take this idea further. It's worth considering what other "relationship" games that the couple can play with each other in this space.
